Voting Question: Why is the Mentle Health care system so pore ?

Maybe its porely trained people that work in them fields of work. You can only blaim lack of spending so much when there is money already being speant on that. Some people realy do there part at there job where others are just flat out lazzy and disrespectful and spend to much time sitting in there nice cozzy chair at her cozzy desk with there fancy PC and all that stuff they take from home to make there office feel more like home and thats fine and dandy if they probly was sharper and more profetional at what they should be doing. But the funny thing is even no matter how much them people make there office feel and look like home its not there home they punch in on a time clock like everyone else the put there time it in at work/home doing what they need to do so they can go to there real home. Yes its a wonderful world. With alot of over paid lazzy people in it at whos exspence ? Don't Adovecat more Mentle Health funding as so much Stricker Guidlines as to what maybe requierd to do at there jobs. You can play your part to in the hole thing every ones in the same boat more or less so maybe you can play your part. Many State are Rated very porely by NAMI http://www.nami.org/ as far as to the Quality in Mentle Health Care. Have a Great day knowing that it may not had been so Great for someone else. Next time you hear about some kid killing there self and you sit thinking about or speand time Gossiping about ask your self what did you do to Adovcate Mentel Health did you Donate time to an old person siting alone in home just trying to enjoy being in there home. Well maybe you can Donate money to help them preserve there happyness. Why stop there what about Them that don't even have a Home to speak of. Could you play your part in that some how ? http://www.habitat.org/ or http://www.hud.gov/foreclosure/ If you do a Part in Donating thats wonderful I thank you. Resolved Question: foreclosure question...please help!?

I am 6 payments behind, for various reasons. Have called the mortgage company several times during these past 6 months explaining my situation. Had to leave town on a family emergency, when I got back the mortgage co. had send me a "letter of intent to foreclose, which expired while I was out of town. Called them as soon as I got back. It has already gone into foreclosure. This is what they told me......I "may" qualify for a loan modification,I will find out Monday when they run the income numbers. If not, they want 6 months and legal fees to stop the foreclosure and re-instate the loan. If I do the modification,I still have to come up with 3 months and sign the modification papers. I am "terrified" about this. Does anyone know what kind of lawyer fees are involved? Is it for inspection, appraisal fees, etc? This first lady I spoke to basically said I have no option other that to pay the 6 months and legal fees. Then I called back again to give them some extra income that I hadn't worked into my monthly expenses and she's the one who said I could possibly do it with the 3 months of payments and then they would modify the loan. The first lady also said I could contact HUD...what would they do for me? Bottom line is........am I still ok as far as saving my home, since I have been given two options to come up with? Obviously, doing the 3 months of payments would be a lot easier. I asked if any other paperwork had been mailed to me regarding any of this and she said she doesn't see anything going out. What should I do? And will the loan modifications lower my payments or will they be higher? Any help would be appreciated...I'm panicking! more

Resolved Question: Can HUD have a bank stop foreclosure?

or is it up to the lender. We have been told we qualify for 2 different options by a HUD counselor. Can the bank refuse to cooperate? We do pay our bills we were set back by Hurricane Ike. We have contacted the bank, but they are not trying to work with us. more

Resolved Question: Should we take a HUD loan to rescue our foreclosure?

My husband bought our home before we were married back in 2005 when everyone was telling us to ‘hurry up and buy!” Over the years our payments went up, the first time was because when we refinanced with Countrywide they made a ‘mistake’ on our escrow payment and the other two were interest rate increases. Our payments got too high so we entered a forbearance program. The program was for a limited time and after it ended we continued to struggle. Counrtywide had NO options for us so we just paid what we could, usually about half of our mortgage. Most people would have stopped paying and saved their money but we were trying to show effort (dumb). We started getting foreclosure notices and prepared for the inevitable. We talked to a number of professionals and it seemed we had no options. After receiving a slew of foreclosure notices we lined up a rental, made or security deposits and signed a lease. This week, we packed up our entire home, we even let our friend come dig up the plants and trees we had put in over the years. Yesterday, Countrywide calls us, due to the bail out they can offer us help now…..ARGH! I should be excited but what am I supposed to do now? They want to see if we qualify for a HUD loan. Is a HUD loan worth it? What if after 5 years we go to sell and there is a small to no profit? What if after giving them the 50% we are not left with enough to buy again? Would it be better to rent for substantially less and save during those five years? I feel like we have continued to do the right thing but kept getting screwed. Now I am scared to follow up on this option and I feel helpless. We put a lot of money into this fixer upper and it breaks my heart to let it go but is it worth it to keep holding on? At this point what am I holding onto? The house is worth less now all fixed up then what we paid for it in an unlivable state. What would you do?  more

Resolved Question: Bidding on a Hud Home?

My husband and I are bidding on a HUD home. As of this time the House was just put on the market (it has been on the market as a foreclosure before I think 2 Yrs ago). They are asking 110,000 but we feel it is worth about 80,000-95,000. We bided 85,000 and the hud realtor said since it is the first time it is listed they probably won't accept it. But he did mention no one is looking at it. Also we have a few family members that are actually directly located by the home and say it has been extremely quiet. Cars drive by stop and just take off. We looked up what they got for the house two years ago and it was 110,000 and they did NO WORK. It needs tons of TCL but that is okay with us. I am confused a tad on the process. If they don't accept us and go no other bids will they relist it or will it go up for grabs for investors? Hmm ...By the way I don’t know if it help but we are in Jersey. more
